Mail-circulated project started in 2013, ongoing
Artist: David Horvitz

A series of David Horvitz’s memories saved and individually shared by MM.

An alternative to a typical exhibition of photography, this curatorial project circulated images that David Horvitz had been taking on his personal camera over a span of a few years via postal service. The artist often uses mail in his practice, consciously referring to the tradition of the 1970s mail art, and utilizes personal connections of friendship for art making and sharing. Keeping in line with the this mode of work, Horvitz’s photographs-memories were sent to one audience member at a time, following, and celebrating, the artist’s and the curator’s affective networks.
